season's cold blanket
the muffled silence of night
hello winter moon
yellow wings outstretched
butterfly tries to capture
weak autumn sunshine
dawn in Kyoto
dew kissed Sakura branches
an early embrace
Green leaves in sunlight
burn the Buddha image bright
right inside her heart
let the sunlight stream
through your hair just like the wind
through the trees in Spring
Biplanes towing signs
fly above the crowded beach---
Haiku in the sky.
Delight migrating
up to cerulean skies.
A bright red balloon.
across the pasture
slumbering in the clover
daisies greet the dawn
yellow ginkgo leaves
tell the fall sky how it feels
to be so alone
The autumn sun fades
Out behind the rolling hills
Shadows creep towards home
morning glories rise
iridescent petals gleam
harvest moon tonight
Trees hung with lemons
Pecans strewn on copper leaves
Wild geese carve the sky
Synchronized shadows
Skip and waltz in green gardens.
Timely skies blacken.
bright morning sunlight
brilliant Japanese maple
blue jays on the wing
Gray skies and cold times,
The rain and wind will collide,
Sad lives and good-byes.
dreaming of your smile:
that breath of sun in autumn
on a cold window.
Tall trees in my sight.
Green is the beauty of Earth.
The sun beating bright.
sunlight slants through clouds
bright patch of sunshine wanders
among wildflowers
fire in the hills
white ash falls from the plum sky
I hold out my tongue
cumulus clouds stalk
lupine's sun soaking petals
summer memory
a half moon perches
in the sycamore's branches
light blooms on the hills
Suspended halo
Ice crystals caress the moon
Frigid, hushed moon dogs
Poppy moves quickly,
Chasing autumnal light play,
In the Peak twilight.
Yelping coyotes
chase October's gibbous moon
Dog woofs softly, once
Light blue morning sky
Oak branches frame a bright moon
Fallen rose petals
limbs shed yellow leaves
dropping and shooting in wind
stars sit on sidewalks
The sun stretches forth
to gather the moon's present
diamond covered Earth.
Tutus swirl on high
A pas de deaux unfolding
clouds embrace sunlight
Early morning sun
Gently emerging through fog
Calls, arise sweet earth
Plumes of smoke rising
up from the leaf-covered ground
into the fall sky
Earth croaks three long times,
Morning sun rises and weeps
At the dirt of man
smoldering ember
a faint glow hidden beneath
charred logs and moonlight
The silence shatters
As gulls cry out to the dawn,
Signaling first light.
perfect black berries
red hollyhocks and cherries
summer sun's children
Clear sky, a chill breeze
Daffodils nodding sagely
Spring is a false dawn
Blinding yellow sun
Attempts to hide the faint moon.
Still, it is present.
