A stream- cold and clear
Envy of a burdened mind
Trickled aimlessly
The sea at midnight
Flecked by splinters of the moon
I unfurl the sail
warm rain on snowdrops
i explain to the children
where the snowmen go
salty ocean breeze
palm trees shadow sun-kissed skin
coconut heaven
blue sky lying down -
tourists' selfies disturbing
the sound of the rain
Sun pokes through the clouds
Casting water images
Reflections of you
Night drinks horizon
Ocean stirs moon's reflection
Shooting stars streak by
Rain is romantic
the umbrella moved aside
for the wettest kiss
black skies , scattered rain
a glimpse of my guilty heart
shrouded by darkness
Half a century
Flows within the stream of time
As a single drop
Waves pummel the rocks,
sea spray sent to drown the sky.
Lightning burns through clouds.
The moon lights the stage
Grains of sand dance through the air
Turtles meet the sea
night birds cry warning
beneath these moon-dancing waves
Leviathan sleeps
as I near the pond
the turtle head submerges
sky on still water
shining mirrors flit
bare-backed upon foaming froth
then out with each tide
A green olive branch,
Flood waters lower gently,
The promise of peace.
sharp August north wind
tastes Aberdeen's North Sea beach
waits for November
rain wet grey pavers
glisten under the low moon
old night winks at dawn
Resus bay, after.
We lock eyes, a tiny nod
We tried... tried so hard.
Ice suddenly bloomed
on the wide river, spreading
Autumn's death rumor.
unwavering light
seas were held beyond the woods
the stillness waited
Go forth and be new
Sun rises, lakes drain, moon falls
Sleep, smile, risk, drain, wake
Fire on the shore.
A circle of childhood friends.
Warmth of nostalgia.
Misty sky and sea
Kiss amidst the horizon
Breathing in sunsets
Mercurial time.
New pages smelling acrid
taste of rain and plum.
My shower is next
Mother Nature washes me
Winter rain is here
free falling snowflakes
sticking to the rooftop peak
frozen waterfall
Cool water babbles
At the bottom of a creek
Tongues of nature speak
Hanging water orbs
web necklace of cool-kissed mist
only air could wear
like delicate lace
narrow hem of shoreline ice
gently creeps outward
Hop on my back child
Let us storm the seven seas
The sons shall boat now
Two girls call a dog
Water ruffles at sunset
Lake brims, heart opens
hundreds of snow geese
peel from placid lake water
shredded porcelain
A black dove sits down
On the bricks in Public Square
To watch us stream by.
karmic waters flow
journeys of the earth within
vibrations tremble.
Sun's sanguine tendrils
Gently caress morning clouds
A promise of rain
