Threadbare branches mourn
vestments stolen by chill winds -
melancholy ghosts
cold cemetery?
a flurry of whippoorwills
water-washed tombstones
storks moving their wings
all over the setting sun -
a goodbye message
By the grieving bench
A magnolia blossoms
In Spring's memory
White hound, cremated
Lost in Louisiana
Shipped via shoebox
a dying flower
wilted petals fall earthbound
resurrection comes
douse me in feathers
bathe my bones in blessed light
Nephilim is dead
Morning dew settles
silver on the last fall leaf?
soon death for rebirth.
Fresh, gentle, Spring breeze
Tides of tears roll out to sea
A new beginning
a hollow pine stump
day of the dead sheltering
a skull shaped mushroom
cerulean cry
winter claims her bare canvas
gusts of northern winds
Down by the river
Without you, gone to the fog?
It's my soul that's lost
nocturnal hunter
conspicuous in absence
the owl calls my name
gold leaves seen through fog
embers dying in ashes
gulls soaring, crying
How ironic that
Everything is dying in
Beautiful colors
Like Autumnal leaf
shed in soft, silent sorrow
red dress hits the floor
When will it all end?
Night by night, tear-stained pillows.
Tiny little pills.
She kept her hood on
and her boots, but lost the dress.
Wild me, she told him.
your eyes fill with tears
let me go winter daughter
to my Moon River
deep silence echoes
as loudly as the racket
absent children made
Forgotten dreams hide,
memories touched and lost loves
I cry as I wake
forests of dead trees
dismembered, reassembled
numb, leafless in paint
chill winds laboring
summer dies a sultry death
the birth of autumn
long dry summer day
broken stalk of dead bamboo
still a path to find
Beginning of death
violent birth of colour
this is creation
Dead branch crashes down
The spring winds introduction
Howling through the night
Glass bottles crunching
a forgotten woman lays
death with a trash bag
Tip the tablets out
a pile of brickwork undone
crying in mortar
I wake at the end
Pondering the absent creaks
The city, asleep
skies cry acid tears --
on drowned floors of rising seas,
mother of pearl weeps
lost ascension of
an enfeebled meadowlark
feline safari
Manhattan Shakespeare
Switchblade ballet ethnic strife
Sing and dance til death
stormy spring weather
I saw your tears glistening
even through the rain
death of white tulips;
a remnant of my mother
in a dragon vase
whiskey summered tongue
scattered words, fallen petals
dead forget-me-nots
Crouched on the rooftop
Snow covered robin awaits
The morning or death
