snow falls like the rain
sweet is the touch of my love
in pain my soul weeps
two waves of movement
walking the cooling pavement
across the silence
Dawn's light holds in breath --
A heron strikes bright water,
Scattering the sun.
Waves bring messages,
Mankind waits along the beach-
Those of peace still drown.
Birds ripple the wine-
colored sunset, hoisting sails
on the summer sea.
silence on the beach
your sky vast and crystal clear
my heart wide open
Sunset at the lake~
Empty Adirondack chairs
face autumn's twilight.
the creek meanders
away from our eager feet
it never turns back
tall stands the pine tree
its twin in the calm water
whisper timeless tales
The sand strewn with souls
Sitting on the beach of Death
The tide rushes in
Her starry surf burns
The ocean is crystal grey
salty Milky Way
drenched in summer rain
thunder rolling overhead
we're caught in full bloom
Splendid waves crash here
Beating the rocks into sand
Only to retreat
Dark clouds 'cross the sky.
Raindrops beat against the glass,
playing the rain song.
Tides washing the shore,
erasing the wet footprints
again and again.
