cloudless skies still move
so much wind across my face
leaves blowing like thoughts
Silver light fishes
Leaping sparks on the water
Cast down from the sun
Dewy chilly morn,
Sun begins to warm the earth-
Horse whinnies hello.
Half a rabbit seen
by full moon. The unseen half?
Rabbit all the same.
Dawn: an empty road
From a cleft in the concrete
A sunflower grows
harvest moon beckons
spring tide crests aureate banks
brown leaves ride her wake
October sunset
cold fog rises from the earth
among the tombstones
freshly cut grass scent -
falling next to the haystack
some rays of sunshine
Crows devil the sky
Torn old rags of sooty wings
Ghosts of Strathnaver
her letters reflect
the beating sun and flutter
thousands of miles, here
Waxing and waning
the moon and I are the same
caught in ebb and flow
shimmering sunset
a new horizon of hope
free spirit adrift
Dawn. I watch the light
orb rising, transporting love
and a vacant seat.
red roses in mud
pink sky dripping falling stars
sparrow shakes a worm
under a tree while
sun burns as on primal day
shadows dance with wind
fish beneath dark waves
thunderclouds invade the sky
you stay safe below
Roiling sky above
Calm lagoon yields today's catch
Distant man watching
Afternoon- sunshine.
Here come the daily rainclouds,
like jealous lovers.
The colors of dusk
settle over my small town
I scratch a lotto
brown hands grew these grapes
infused with earth water sun
wine our sacrament
Eagles soar so high
Sentinels in the blue sky
Feathers drift - a Gift!
javelina naps
under the Sonoran sun-
blue agave haze
October twilight
white pines fogged with lake water
a distant chain saw
beneath an old moon
Pemigewasset gabbles-
riverrocks rounding
the Northern Kingdom
snow bound moonlight hardening
where dreams are buried
Fragrance like sweet tea,
The first rose of spring blushes
Warm pink in the sun.
rare morning thunder
biblical sky pelts glass rain
all the leaves look sharp
dandelion seed
buried in the other side
lying beside moon
Sun freckles shoulders
captive five months to cashmere
Sweaters hibernate
The night sky whispers
A single star twinkles bright
Earth can't hear her call
inebriated
consoled by the blood red moon
thoughts of you be still
Tide is moving in
Crabs find shelter in the sand
Fullest moon ever
the sun covers me
warming my soul as always
with mercy and love
Four cows munching grass
Lightning bugs blinking in trees
Dusk ? a summer day
tattered wings flutter
beneath the hunter moon's glow
a mallard's last cry
Reaching towards the sky
proud stalks with radiant blooms
face the golden sun.
